Email Marketing Guy Debuts For MarketingProfs.com
Josh
Josh Nason
Business Development

Less than two hours after I posted my big interview with Zane Lamprey of Mojo Network's Three Sheets, I was pleasantly surprised to hear that my email marketing column has debuted on MarketingProfs.com, a leading site for marketing professionals of all types. With over 300,000 members and over 300 contributors, I'm proud to now call myself one of the gang.

I will be contributing original content for the site and for an email marketing industry specific newsletter they send to their mailing list. Essentially, these will be enhanced and bolstered versions of what I do here on our company blog. I'm pretty excited as I set a goal for myself six months ago to get to this point. Now, I'm here and ready to rock.

The debut focuses on email marketing with small businesses. While they definitely share the same needs larger businesses do, they tend to need a little more prodding to get going. To check it out, click here to read the column.

So yeah, this day has been pretty awesome to say the least.

Email Marketing: 16 reasons not to paste and blast emails from Outlook
This one seems to come up often with smaller businesses or email marketing newbies. I thought I'd give you some food for thought as to why pasting code into Microsoft Outlook and blasting is not such a good idea for your company, its brand or your sanity. I vow to post three new reasons a day until I run out. (Hint: maybe there are a lot of them).

Email Marketing: Is Pizza Hut Delivering Great Email?
In 2006 alone, Pizza Hut brought in over $9.3 billion in sales, almost doubling the second-place finisher, Domino's. You see their TV ads and you see their flyers in your mailbox every few months. They spend a lot of money in branding themselves a certain way and take great care in their image. So why isn't their email given the proper care?
