Email Marketing: HBO Scores TKO

In doing a quick scan/delete in my inbox, this HBO email really caught my eye. Click the image below to enlarge it for yourself...

There are two main messages in the sweet spot: a Joe Louis documentary, coupled with a promo for an upcoming fight. You also have three distinct push areas underneath. Most important was the creative, playing the classic gold off the granite-style border with black-and-white photos. It immediately gives you an old-style, classy feel as opposed to the melted crayon box a lot of others use.

HBO: nice work!
